Mr. Tim Longnecker began his ministry with WSCS in 1976. Tim is currently serving as the Principal, 9th-10th grade Bible teacher and 11th-12th grade English teacher. He also serves as Pastor of Ministries for Walnut Street Baptist Church. He is a graduate of Practical Bible College and attends Walnut Street Baptist Church. 

"My goal is to train my students to think. When they use the filter of God's Word, they make good decisions and are prepared for whatever God has in store for them."

Mr. Tom Krick began his ministry with WSCS in 2011. Tom is a Jr. & Sr. High School teacher, and he teaches a wide range of subjects spanning from English, Science, Bible, Spanish, Shop and Physical Education. He also accepted the Assistant Principal position, and he looks forwarded to his new responsibilities. He is a graduate of Clarks Summit University and attends Calvary Baptist Church.

"I want students to leave the classroom with a deeper knowledge and love for God. I also want them to have the ability to think critically and explain their faith well. With this foundation, they will find success in whatever their futures hold."

Mrs. Brandi Conklin began her ministry with WSCS in 2006. Brandi is the school’s New Development Director. She handles much of the office responsibilities that make the school run smoothly. She graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School and attends Walnut Street Baptist Church. 

"My desire for the students is that they seek Christ with their whole hearts and keep their focus on Him."

Ms. Bethany Howell began her ministry with WSCS in 2014. Bethany is the Pre-Kindergarten teacher, and she helps students develop essential life skills that become the building blocks for their growth.  She is a graduate of Clarks Summit University and attends Calvary Baptist Church. She is also an alumi of WSCS.

"I enjoy creating a friendly, engaging learning environment for my students. I take seriously the responsibility of giving my students a solid foundation for learning and spiritual growth. I desire to send students to Kindergarten knowing that they are loved and capable of succeeding."

Mrs. Jessica Dick began her ministry with WSCS in 2008. Jessica is the Kindergarten teacher, and also teaches Elementary Art and 7th & 8th grade Art. She provides her students with a strong academic and developmental foundation to help them transition into the 1st grade.  She is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and attends Lycoming Valley Baptist Church. is our new Kindergarten teacher. 

"I want each kindergartener in my class to find out that learning new things about the world around them is exciting! I will help them to become confident and curious learners, always ready for the next new learning adventure. Kindergarten will provide them with solid foundational skills necessary for their future success!"

Mrs. Ashley Wynn began her ministry with WSCS in 2010.  Ashley  is the 1st grade teacher, and helps provide the foundational skills needed for the maturity of her students. She is a graduate of Clarks Summit University and attends Walnut Street Baptist Church. 

"My desire is for my students to come to know Jesus as their personal savior. I also strive to see my students come to have a passion for learning new things."

Mr. Corey Thomas began his ministry with WSCS in 2000. Corey is the 2nd grade teacher, along with his special elective - "How To Be Awesome 101". He is a graduate of Lock Haven University and attends Walnut Street Baptist Church. He is also an alumni of WSCS.

"I want my students to learn to love and honor God with their actions and words. I want them to learnt to be proud of the work they do. I want them enjoy coming to school."

Mrs. Brenda Campbell began her ministry with WSCS in 2010. Brenda is the 3rd grade teacher, Assistant Physical Education teacher for 3rd - 6th grades, and also teaches a combined class of 3rd and 4th grade in the afternoon. She is a graduate of Cedarville University and attends Walnut Street Baptist Church.  

"My desire for my students is to not just teach them 'head knowledge', but to teach them Godly character qualities that they will live out in their lives. It is also my desire to instill in my students a love for learning and have fun while they are learning."

Mrs. Kim Hile began her ministry with WSCS in 1991. Kim is the 4th grade teacher, and with over 20 years of teaching experience, she has made a lasting impact in the lives of many students. She is a graduate of Cedarville College and attends Community Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sandy Patalive began her ministry with WSCS in 2002. Sandy is the 5th grade teacher, elementary physical education teacher, and also teaches 6th grade science. She is a graduate of Lock Haven University and attends Big Woods Bible Church.  

"My desire is to introduce my students to Jesus as Savior, to help them grow in their relationship with Him, to teach responsibility and to prepare them academically for the next school year."

Mrs. Nancy Spearing began her ministry with WSCS in 2001. Nancy is the Academic Support teacher, and provides her students with individualized educational plans to help them their academic needs. She is a graduate of Millersville State College and attends Walnut Street Baptist Church.  

"My goal is to take the child from the point that they are at and have them advance to the level they are capable of. No matter what the needs are my main intention is to help them to be successful and feel confident that they can do it."

Mrs. Pat Marr began her ministry with WSCS in 2003. Pat is an Elementary Aide that primarily helps with the Pre-Kindergarten program, and she is also the school's Librarian. She graduated from Arlington Bible College and attends Walnut Street Baptist Church.  

"My desire is that my students learn social, mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual skills. I want them to grow spiritually and know Christ personally in their early years."

Mr. Wayne Brooks  began his ministry with WSCS in 1998. Wayne teaches 7th - 12th grade history and 9th & 10th grade science, and he has been involved in a variety of electives over the years. He is a graduate from Liberty University and he attends Maranatha Bible Church.

"I want to be able to tie God, history, and science together. When my students see how God is involved in all areas of life, I have achieved progress."

Mrs. Kaitlyn Bowman began her ministry with WSCS in 2014. Kaitlyn is the High School Math teacher, and also teaches the yearbook, culinary arts, and creative writing electives. She is a graduate of Lycoming College and attends The Door Fellowship. 

"My goal is to utilize traditional mathematics in order to equip students with every day skills, such as logic, problem solving, and critical thinking. Galileo said that 'Mathematics  is the language with which God wrote the universe,' and I hope to instill in each student a desire to further explore our intelligently designed and symmetrically ordered universe."

Mr. Jeremy Geisler began his ministry with WSCS in 2009. Jeremy is the 11th & 12th grade Bible teacher, and the High School Consumer Math teacher. He also coordinates the 11th & 12th grade annual mission trip to Window Rock, Arizona, where they minister to the Navajo Nation. He is a graduate of Clarks Summit University, and attends Walnut Street Baptist Church.

"My desire for each student is to move beyond mere Sunday school theology, and move towards pursuing their own personal relationship with Christ by studying, examining and testing God's word for themselves."

Dr. Art Gray began his ministry with WSCS in 2004. Art currently volunteers as the Chemistry and Physics teacher, and he also teaches some Biology. He earned his PhD in Chemistry from Ohio University, and he is a retired Professor from Lock Haven University.  He attends Big Woods Bible Church. 

"My desire is to be a godly role model and to help them see that all scientific studies show the wonders of our Creator."

Mrs. Kathy Gottschall began her ministry with WSCS in 1993. Kathy is the High School Literature & Vocabulary teacher, and also serves as a counselor & mentor to the students.  She can also be seen decorating or arranging centerpieces for the school's many banquets and social functions. She is a graduate of Lock Haven University and attends Grace Fellowship Church. 

"My prayer for my students would be that they would have a will and a desire to follow the example of Christ. That they would make the Bible a light for their path.

Mrs. Becky Paulhamus began her ministry with WSCS in 1997. Becky is the Jr. High Math teacher, and also teaches K-6th grade computers. She also is involved with IT support, student records and various other administrative duties.  our computer teacher.  She is a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology and attends Calvary Baptist Church. 

"My goal for our students is that they would make their faith their own. That they would grow both in maturity and in the Lord. And realize that God's Word is relevant for them in the situations they face every day."

Mrs. Ang Thomas began her ministry with WSCS in 2014. Ang is the school's lunch and cafeteria supervisor, and is in charge of hosting many of our special event meals and banquets. She attends Walnut Street Baptist Church.

"My desire for the students is to develop spiritual growth through music, learning the basics of music through theory and song with a focus of Biblical lyrics to help direct their thoughts to the Lord in all they do in their lives."
